APPLYING FOR THE CASA I PROGRAM (See details below photo)
**The 2020-2021 CASA I Application deadline has passed.**
The 2021-2022 application deadlines will be posted in the fall and will likely be similar to this year's. We encourage you to review the Applicatoin & Insructions pages for information on the process.
Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents. They also must fall into one of the following categories: (a) current graduate students (e.g., PhD or MA student); (b) undergraduate students in their junior or senior year; or (c) holders of either a bachelor's or master's degree.
The CASA I application process includes the following components:
APPLICATION - Submitting an Application Form with transcripts by Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 11pm MST. Recommendations are due by Thursday, January 31, 2020.
SELECTION EXAM - Taking a Selection Exam to assess listening, reading, writing and oral proficiency skills is part of the application process. Once you have completed the appication, please review this page carefully to learn how to register for all sections of this exam.
The full exam should be taken with a proctor on the following dates (details on the exam page):
- Wednesday, February 5, 2020 -- for students living abroad
- Fridays, January 31 or February 7, 2020 -- for those in the U.S. or Canada (date to be confirmed by your proctor)
